What's Happening?
The second edition of the Asian University Basketball League (AUBL) commenced at Binjiang Gymnasium in Hangzhou, featuring strong performances from teams like Tsinghua University, Peking University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and Korea University.
The tournament, which spans nine days, includes a group stage followed by knockout rounds and a Final Four. Tsinghua University secured a notable victory against the University of Sydney, capitalizing on turnovers to win 87-65. Other matches saw Korea University narrowly defeating Hakuoh University, Peking University dominating the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and Shanghai Jiao Tong University overcoming the National University of Mongolia. The event is sanctioned by the Asian University Sports Federation and aims to foster intercollegiate competition across Asia.
