The government plans to capture a significant share of the medical tourism market, leveraging AI-enabled chatbots and multi-language support to enhance patient experience. The State Medical Tourism Society will oversee the platform and lead marketing efforts to attract patients, particularly from the Telugu diaspora. The policy also includes developing wellness packages in nearby forest regions and enforcing transparency in pricing through a Medical Tourism Charter Agreement.
