What's Happening?
Dayspring, the Richland County Home, is set to host its inaugural Christmas tree judging event on December 16, 2025. The event will feature a drive-through display of Christmas trees that have been donated and decorated by local businesses and community
groups. Richland County Commissioners Darrell Banks and Cliff Mears, along with Mansfield Mayor Jodie Perry and Doc Stumbo, will serve as judges for the event. The community is invited to participate by joining the judges in selecting the winning tree, enjoying the festive decorations, and indulging in hot cocoa and cookies. The Christmas display will remain open to the public through December 31, weather permitting. Dayspring is located at 3220 Olivesburg Road, and those interested in participating in next year’s event can contact Heather Knipp, the Dayspring office manager.
