Harold William Workman, an accomplished engineer and community member, passed away on May 19, 2026. Born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Workman earned his bachelor's, master's, and PhD in engineering from Iowa State University. His career included significant
contributions at Rockwell Collins, with positions in New Jersey, Cedar Rapids, and Naperville, Illinois. Workman was deeply involved in his family life, raising four children and participating in their activities. He also had a passion for genealogy, travel, trivia, and puzzles. Active in his church, he and his wife, LuRay, participated in mission trips to Russia in 2000 and 2002. Workman is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, and siblings. He will be interred in David City, Nebraska, with donations in his memory directed to Grace United Methodist Church in Naperville.
