His journey took him through several countries, including China, Malaysia, and Libya, before he decided to attempt the crossing to Italy on a Jet Ski. Despite the dangers, Abu Dakha successfully reached the Italian island of Lampedusa, where he was rescued by a border patrol boat. He is now in Germany, hoping to bring his family from Gaza.
