Key deficiencies identified include foundational work habits such as reliability, accountability, and attendance, as well as job-specific technical skills. The report also notes a growing engagement with artificial intelligence among employers, with only 9% not considering AI implementation. As AI adoption increases, there is a heightened demand for training in AI software, industry-specific tools, and safety protocols. In response, Kirkwood is prepared to partner with businesses to provide workforce solutions, including foundational skills training, technical training, onboarding support, work-based learning, and AI-focused training.
