What's Happening?
The World Food Programme (WFP) is seeking partnerships with local non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to implement food security and nutrition interventions in Cameroon's Adamaoua and North Regions.
This initiative is part of the Cameroon Country Strategic Plan (2022-2026) and aims to address immediate humanitarian needs while promoting sustainable recovery and resilience. The program combines food assistance with nutrition support and livelihood interventions to help vulnerable populations meet their essential needs and build self-reliance. The WFP's call for expression of interest targets local NGOs with an operational presence in the specified regions, focusing on improving food security, reducing malnutrition, and fostering social cohesion between refugees and host communities.
