What's Happening?
CABI recently held a Regional Consultation Meeting in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, from September 16-18, 2025, focusing on agricultural and environmental challenges in the Americas and Caribbean. The meeting brought together representatives from 11 member countries, partner organizations, and subject-matter experts to review progress and discuss future priorities under CABI's global strategy. The event emphasized the importance of partnerships in addressing global issues such as hunger, poverty, gender inequality, climate change, and biodiversity loss. Discussions highlighted the need for science-based, innovative solutions to strengthen food value chains, reinforce plant health systems, and expand knowledge-sharing across the region.
