Montgomery Catholic's Michael Sheffield and Prattville Christian Academy's Anniston Robison have been named the Montgomery Advertiser's Vance Law Firm athletes of the week for August 25-30. Sheffield won the boys' poll with 55.57% of the votes, outperforming Carver's Zion Crumpton, who received 42.14%. Sheffield's performance included catching seven passes for 154 yards and three touchdowns in a game against St. Clair County. Additionally, he returned three punts for 36 yards. On the girls' side, Robison narrowly defeated Montgomery Catholic's Hayden Fitts by securing 50.71% of the votes. Her achievements during the week included 11 kills, 21 digs, one block, and eight aces.
