What's Happening?
The iconic Flatiron Building in New York City, originally constructed in 1902, is set to be transformed into luxury private residences. The Brodsky Organization, in collaboration with The Sorgente Group,
is spearheading this project, which involves converting the historic skyscraper into 38 high-end homes. The building, known for its unique triangular shape and Beaux-Arts façade, will feature residences with three to five bedrooms, offering panoramic views of the city skyline. The restoration includes a comprehensive survey and refurbishment of the building's limestone, brick, and terra-cotta exterior, as well as the replacement of over 1,000 windows. The interior design, led by Studio Sofield, aims to blend the building's original architectural elements with modern materials, creating a living space that honors its historical significance while catering to contemporary tastes.
