The Russian federal air transport regulator, Rosaviatsia, has granted certification to the Ilyushin Il-114-300 turboprop aircraft. This certification was announced during an international economic forum in St Petersburg on June 5. The certification marks
a significant milestone for the aircraft, which has undergone comprehensive modernization, including new Klimov TV7-117ST-01 engines, updated avionics, and a redesigned cabin to accommodate 66-68 passengers. The aircraft is currently in serial production at the Lukhovitsy aviation plant near Moscow.
