Ciudad Juarez International Airport (CJS), located on the Mexico-U.S. border near El Paso, Texas, has opened a renovated passenger terminal. The expansion nearly doubles the terminal's size, significantly boosting the airport's passenger capacity. Managed by Grupo Aeroportuario Centro Norte (OMA), the airport is one of 13 under OMA's control, with French airport developer Vinci Airports holding a 30% stake. The renovation cost MXN828.4 million ($44.3 million), with plans for further improvements over the next five years. The expansion added 13,800 square meters to the terminal, increasing its annual capacity to 2.6 million passengers, with future construction expected to raise this to 2.9 million.
