However, challenges such as time constraints and training effectiveness remain prevalent. The survey indicates that over 50% of respondents feel their workforce's current skill level is insufficient for current and future fiber projects. With nearly 70% of fiber optic technicians nearing retirement, the industry faces both challenges and opportunities in attracting and training new talent.
