of Ind. 49 and County Road 600 North. According to the crash report, the incident involved a collision between a 2024 Tesla truck and a 2017 Nissan passenger car, which Guzman was driving. The driver of the Tesla, a 42-year-old man from Algonquin, Illinois, reportedly failed to yield the right of way while crossing Ind. 49, leading to the collision. Both vehicles ended up in a ditch at the southwest corner of the intersection. The driver of the Tesla has not been charged with a crime, and his identity has not been disclosed.
