What's Happening?
TEDxSVIT, an independently organized TEDx event, is hosted by the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Institute of Technology (SVIT) in Vasad, India. Operating under the global TED initiative's theme of 'Ideas Change Everything,' TEDxSVIT provides a platform for a diverse
range of individuals, including thinkers, innovators, artists, and changemakers, to share their stories and inspire action. The event aims to spark conversations and foster connections within and beyond the campus community. Launched in 2023 by a student team comprising Shofiya Bootwala, Yesha Vyas, Harshil Bhatt, and Devanshi Patel, TEDxSVIT has continued to evolve. Subsequent teams in 2024 (Devanshiraje Jadeja, Jasmin Kansagra, and Kabir Brahmbhatt) and 2025 (Kabir Brahmbhatt, Aditi Patel, Vipra Dave, and Dhyani Upadhyay) have expanded its vision, bringing together diverse voices and meaningful stories.
