DEPT®/HELLOMONDAY, in collaboration with the American Society for Deaf Children and NVIDIA, has developed 'Signs,' an AI-powered platform designed to make learning American Sign Language (ASL) more accessible and inclusive. The platform utilizes computer
vision and real-time feedback to transform any camera into an interactive ASL coach. It features a 3D avatar that teaches users, corrects hand positions, and contributes to a growing open-source dataset. In its first week, without any paid media, 'Signs' reached 20 million people and garnered over 1 billion impressions, with more than 20,000 signs learned within 10 days.
