The Washoe County Sheriff's Office has identified the man who drowned at Sand Harbor as 32-year-old Yadessa Aga. The incident occurred around 8 p.m. on Monday when deputies responded to a report of a possible water rescue at the North Sand Harbor boat
ramp. Upon arrival, they found bystanders bringing an unresponsive man to shore. Despite immediate life-saving efforts by deputies and medical personnel, Aga was pronounced dead at the scene. The Sheriff's Office is investigating the incident as an accidental drowning.
