The Pennsylvania Department of Health, in collaboration with the Department of Education, has launched an online tool to track vaccination rates in schools across the state. This interactive dashboard provides data for students in kindergarten, seventh
grade, and 12th grade, offering a more granular view than previous state and county-level reports. The tool aims to enhance public health transparency and help families assess the protection levels against vaccine-preventable diseases like measles. The data shows that more than half of the reporting schools have at least 95% of their kindergarten students vaccinated against measles, mumps, and rubella, a critical benchmark for community protection.
