Shipman & Goodwin LLP, a Hartford-based law firm, is expanding its regional footprint by opening a new office in Boston. This expansion includes the addition of 17 attorneys from Tarlow Breed Hart & Rodgers,
enhancing Shipman's capabilities in corporate law, business transactions, taxation, estate planning, litigation, dispute resolution, real estate, and family law. The new office, located at Boston's Prudential Center, will be co-managed by Melissa Sydney and Jeff Hart, both formerly with Tarlow Breed. This move increases Shipman's attorney count to over 160, potentially improving its Am Law NLJ 500 ranking by 60 places.
