The Road to Battlefield competition, organized by Silkroad Innovation Hub in collaboration with TechCrunch and Freedom Holding, has significantly impacted Central Eurasia's startup ecosystem. The event attracted 485 applications from 27 countries, culminating in the region's largest startup pitch event. This initiative provided a platform for Central Eurasian founders to present their innovations at TechCrunch Startup Battlefield 200 in San Francisco. The competition featured over 380 startups during nine national rounds, showcasing the diversity and dynamism of the region. Notably, 35% of the participants were women-led startups, and a 14-year-old founder from Uzbekistan was among the competitors. Four standout startups—Polygraf AI, QuickShipper, Surfaice, and ArtSkin—were selected to represent Central Eurasia on the global stage, bringing innovations in AI security, logistics, construction software, and neurointerface technology.
