Caturus Energy has contracted Nabors Industries to deploy the PACE-X Ultra™ X33 rig, the most powerful onshore drilling system currently operating in the U.S. This marks a significant milestone in Caturus's strategy to expand natural gas production from its South Texas portfolio. The rig is designed to handle 4-mile laterals and vertical depths exceeding 14,000 feet, enhancing efficiency and drilling certainty. It features advanced technology, including a one million-pound mast rating and three 2,000-hp mud pumps. The integration of Cat® Dynamic Gas Blending allows for improved fuel efficiency and reduced emissions, positioning Nabors as a leader in ultra-spec rig technology.
