What's Happening?
Granta Autonomy, a Lithuanian company, is set to deliver its X-Wing loitering munition systems to the Armed Forces of Ukraine by the end of 2025. This delivery is contingent upon approval from the Lithuanian Ministry of National Defence. The X-Wing systems have
been tested in Ukraine since April, including under electronic warfare conditions. The company plans to conduct some final assembly in Ukraine, leveraging local expertise and feedback to enhance the system's reliability. Recent updates to the X-Wing include improvements to its hit rate and camera system, which now features a new gimbal design to better target objects up to 60 km away.
