What's Happening?
The Data & Society Research Institute has initiated the Cross Sector Labor & AI project, focusing on the impacts of AI on workers and supporting pro-worker policy interventions. The project aims to build solidarity across labor, climate, and immigrant
rights movements, conducting case studies to identify patterns that disempower workers. The Project Coordinator will facilitate communication between researchers, community partners, and other departments, ensuring alignment and progress. The initiative seeks to produce case studies, policy documents, and engage with media and community resources to address structural inequities.
