What's Happening?
Edie, a platform focused on sustainability, has launched a survey aimed at gathering insights from sustainability professionals to shape a new report on the state of sustainability in 2026. The survey targets in-house sustainability, CSR, and net-zero
managers, as well as other professionals involved in sustainability strategies across various industries. Participants in the survey will have the opportunity to win a free 12-month digital membership. The survey is designed to capture experiences and opinions on ESG trends and opportunities for 2026. The results will contribute to an insight report to be unveiled at the edie 26 event in March, which is one of the largest sustainability events organized by a certified B Corp.
Why It's Important?
The survey and subsequent report are significant as they aim to benchmark the current state of sustainability and identify action gaps and aspirations within the profession. This initiative is crucial for driving corporate actions, investment plans, and strategies that support ambitious climate action. By engaging sustainability professionals, the survey seeks to energize and equip them with insights that can positively impact their organizations' sustainability strategies. The edie 26 event, where the report will be presented, serves as a platform for sharing best practices and fostering collaboration among sustainability leaders, thereby amplifying efforts towards achieving net-zero goals.
What's Next?
The survey will remain open until the end of February, allowing ample time for professionals to participate. Following the survey, the insights gathered will be analyzed and compiled into a comprehensive report. This report will be presented at the edie 26 event in March, where attendees will have the opportunity to discuss the findings and explore strategies for implementing effective sustainability practices. The event is expected to further motivate participants to drive positive change within their organizations and industries.
