William 'Jim' Joseph Pearce, a lifelong resident of Gipsy, PA, passed away at the age of 88 on December 23, 2025. Pearce was a dedicated coal miner, having worked for the Hillsdale Mining Company until
his retirement. Known for his strong work ethic, Pearce was also an avid hunter who cherished the outdoors. He was a devoted family man, survived by his four sons and six grandchildren, who were the pride of his life. Pearce's life was celebrated with a funeral service held at the Rairigh Funeral Home in Hillsdale, PA.
