Charlie Gray, a cofounder of the Orlando-based law firm GrayRobinson, P.A., and a significant figure in Central Florida's development, has died at the age of 94. Gray played a pivotal role in bringing major attractions and institutions to Orlando, including
Disney World, the University of Central Florida, and the Orlando Magic basketball team. His contributions extended beyond entertainment, as he was instrumental in the creation of the Orange County Convention Center and the development of the State Road 408 East-West Expressway. Gray's legacy also includes his efforts in transforming his DeBary cattle ranch into Gemini Springs Park, a public county park. His work in law and politics significantly shaped the region, making it a desirable place for people to live and visit.
