A 62-year-old man from Shawnee, Kansas, tragically drowned at the Lake of the Ozarks on a Saturday afternoon. The incident occurred in the 32000 block of Crescent Drive in Morgan County, Missouri. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the man was
swimming off a dock when he went underwater and did not resurface. He was recovered and pronounced dead approximately three hours later. It was noted that the man was not wearing a safety device at the time of the incident.
