Governor Ron DeSantis has appointed several new judges to fill open seats in South Florida's judicial system. Among the appointees is Christopher Green, who will serve as a judge in the 11th Judicial Circuit. Green has been a Miami-Dade County Court judge since
2023. Alicia Priovolos, also from Miami, joins Green in the 11th Judicial Circuit. Priovolos has served as a Miami-Dade County Judge since 2023. Additionally, Gustavo Losa and Johanna Benedi have been appointed to the Miami-Dade County Court. Losa has been a Senior Associate General Counsel for Universal Property & Casualty Insurance Co., while Benedi has worked as an Associate Trial Attorney for Farmers Insurance Exchange. Autumn Gurrola and Jeffrey Martz have been appointed to the 15th Judicial Circuit Court.
