Stena RoRo has taken delivery of the 13th ship in its E-Flexer RoPax ferry series from the China Merchants Industry shipyard in Weihai, China. The vessel, named Capu Rossu, will be operated by CORSICA LINEA and is set to commence commercial operations
in mid-June, trading between Marseille and Corsica. The E-Flexer series is known for its larger design compared to standard RoPax ferries, offering flexibility tailored to operators' needs. These ships feature optimized hull forms, multifuel engines, and Battery Power Class notation, making them among the most environmentally friendly ferries ever designed. Per Westling, CEO of Stena RoRo, emphasized the importance of new ship orders in reducing CO2 emissions in the ferry industry.
