of Saint Elizabeth and began her career as a chemist at Ciba-Geigy Pharmaceutical Corp. in Summit, New Jersey. She married Wassel Sopchak in 1960, with whom she had four children. After Wassel's passing in 1989, Mary married Fred Hamilton in 1991 and moved to Wappingers Falls. She was an active member of Saint Mary, Mother of the Church in Fishkill, New York. Mary is survived by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her funeral services are scheduled for January 1 and 2, 2026, in Fishkill, New York, and Piscataway, New Jersey.
