What's Happening?
The Department of Agriculture in Poonch organized a district-level mega workshop aimed at educating and sensitizing youth under the Jammu & Kashmir Climate Investment Project (JKCIP). The event attracted 250 participants, including Krishi Udhyamis, youth clubs,
self-help groups, and farmers. District Development Commissioner Ashok Sharma emphasized the role of youth in nation-building and encouraged them to become job creators through modern agricultural practices. The workshop focused on climate-resilient and market-oriented practices, such as hydroponics and precision farming, to empower young entrepreneurs and promote sustainable livelihoods.
