Great Wolf Lodge pledged to donate money for each slide ridden: $20 for the Wolf Tail, $10 for the Diamondback, and $5 for the Tree Fork, with a fundraising goal of $5,000. A spokesperson for Phoenix Children's Hospital stated that approximately 400 new cancer diagnoses are recorded annually at the hospital, meaning a child is diagnosed with cancer there every day.
