Eillen M. West, aged 83, passed away on October 12, 2025. She was a resident of Downers Grove, formerly of Burr Ridge and LaGrange Park. Eillen was the daughter of John and Katherine Hannigan and the beloved
wife of Arthur C. West. She was a loving mother to Christopher West and the late A. David West and Michelle West. Her grandchildren include Austin West, Brittany Lazare, Zoe West, and Mia West. Eillen was also a devoted sister, sister-in-law, cousin, aunt, and friend to many. Her visitation is scheduled for October 20th at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, with funeral prayers and a Mass to follow on October 21st at St. Francis Xavier in LaGrange. Interment will be at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Evergreen Park. Memorials are requested to be made to the Leukemia Foundation or the American Diabetes Association.
