Minor Hotels has announced the development of a new Anantara property in Ushuaia, Argentina, set to open in early 2028. The Anantara Ushuaia Patagonia Resort will be located in the southernmost city in the world,
where the Andes Mountains meet the Beagle Channel. The resort will feature 60 luxurious guest rooms and suites, a spa and wellness facility, signature dining, and meeting facilities. It is part of the Costa Susana master plan, which is notable for being the first carbon-neutral real estate development in Argentina. The development has been nominated for the World Architecture Festival's Landscape and Environment category. The hotel management agreement is with Fideicomiso Urbanización Monte Susana, an Argentinean development group with extensive experience in real estate.
