Donald J. Clinkert, a long-time resident of Glen Ellyn, Illinois, passed away on March 9, 2026, at the age of 87. He was a devoted husband to Rosemary for nearly 65 years and a father to four children: Donna, Paul, Mary, and Karen. Clinkert was also a grandfather
and great-grandfather, leaving behind a large family that includes grandchildren and a great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Veronica Clinkert, as well as three sisters and a brother. He is survived by his brother, Robert Clinkert. A visitation and Mass of Christian Burial are scheduled for March 16, 2026, at St. Petronille Church in Glen Ellyn, with interment at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Hillside, Illinois.
