The Ministry of Energy and Minerals of Oman has signed a mining concession agreement with Manganese Majan Company for exploration and mining rights in North Sharqiyah Governorate. This agreement is part of Oman's strategy to expand its minerals sector
and optimize natural resource utilization under Oman Vision 2040. The concession area, known for its geological diversity, will undergo extensive exploration activities, including surveys and drilling, with investments exceeding RO1.5 million.
