Sanmar Shipyards has completed successful sea trials for its latest tugboat, built for Ultratug, in Tuzla, Turkiye. The tug, known during construction as Boğaçay LXXIX, is based on the RAmparts 2400SX-MKII design by Canadian naval architects Robert Allan Ltd. The trials demonstrated the vessel's stability and maneuverability, meeting the operational needs of Ultratug. The tug features a 12m molded beam, 24.4m length, 4.5m molded depth, and 5.45m navigational draft.
