Gavin Eastep, a Baltimore native, has been honored as a 2026 outstanding senior by the Department of Agricultural Communication, Education, and Leadership at The Ohio State University. Eastep, an agriscience education major with a minor in production
agriculture, was one of 13 students selected for his academic excellence and extracurricular involvement. His participation in various programs, including the Honors Program and the Farm Credit Mid America Scholars Program, highlights his commitment to the field. Eastep plans to graduate in May with a Bachelor of Science in agriculture and aims to become a high school agricultural educator.
