Northwestern University and the University of Chicago alumni are set to receive settlement payouts following a class-action antitrust lawsuit concerning the schools' tuition practices. The lawsuit, filed in 2022, accused several elite universities of forming

The universities involved, including Northwestern and UChicago, have agreed to a combined settlement of $284 million.
