What's Happening?
The Shortsville Reindeer Farm recently hosted a German-style volksmarsch, a non-competitive walk through fields and forests, featuring food, drink, and music. Participants enjoyed a walk around the reindeer pasture, grilled bratwurst, and local brews, accompanied by German music from the Krazy Firemen band. The event, held on October 5, aimed to raise funds for the Red Jacket Community Library. Visitors also had the opportunity to see the farm's reindeer, including a growing baby named Maija.
