What's Happening?
The NHL and NHL Players' Association have launched the NHL/NHLPA Innovation Competition, inviting Florida college students to develop creative ideas to grow the game of hockey. The competition encourages participants to explore solutions that support
the people who power sport, expand spaces for play, and prioritize fun in hockey. Finalists will present their ideas at ESPN's Wide World of Sports in January 2026.
