Ocius Technology, based in Sydney, is advancing its Bluebottle unmanned surface vehicle (USV) to meet the evolving surveillance needs of the Royal Australian Navy and allied forces, including the U.S. The Bluebottle USV is designed for surface and sub-surface
monitoring and can act as a communication gateway. Recent upgrades have been informed by operational feedback and are aimed at expanding its capabilities. The Australian Department of Defence has awarded a contract to procure 40 additional Bluebottles, enhancing the Royal Australian Navy's fleet.
