Elaine M. Swenie, a longtime resident of Norwood Park, Chicago, passed away on October 31, 2025, at the age of 96. Swenie was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Swenie, and is survived by her children
Cynthia Razgaitis, Robert, Christine Anderson, Connie Beers, and Stephen, as well as her grandchildren Rachel, Patrick, Justin, Ryan, Erin, Nathan, and Oliver. A wake is scheduled for November 10, 2025, at Ryan-Parke Funeral Home in Park Ridge, Illinois, followed by a Funeral Mass at Saint Paul of the Cross Catholic Church. Entombment will take place at All Saints Catholic Cemetery & Mausoleums in Des Plaines, Illinois.
