What's Happening?
The Farm Credit Foundation for Agricultural Advancement has awarded $457,000 in scholarships to 66 students pursuing careers in agriculture. Each scholarship is valued at up to $10,000 and is aimed at students demonstrating a strong commitment to academic
excellence and a passion for advancing agriculture. The Foundation, funded by Horizon Farm Credit, serves a 100-county territory across Delaware, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia. Since its establishment in 2015, the Foundation has awarded over $1.75 million in scholarships. Applications for the 2027 scholarship program will open later in 2026, encouraging eligible students within the Foundation's service area to apply.
