What's Happening?
The Konya Agriculture 2026, known as Türkiye's largest agriculture fair, is set to take place from April 7-11, 2026, at the Tüyap Konya International Fair Center. This event, organized by Tüyap Exhibitions Group in collaboration with the Turkish Agricultural
Machinery and Equipment Manufacturers Association (TARMAKBİR), aims to serve as a gateway for agricultural mechanization and innovation. The fair will host decision-makers, buyers, and stakeholders from the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, focusing on strategic dialogue and business development. In 2025, the fair attracted 251,000 visitors from 80 countries and featured 432 exhibitors from 20 countries. The event will showcase a wide range of agricultural machinery and technologies, including tractors, harvesters, precision agriculture systems, and renewable energy applications.
Why It's Important?
The Konya Agriculture Fair is significant as it positions Türkiye as a central hub for agricultural innovation and mechanization, particularly for the MENA region. This area, characterized by water scarcity and a growing need for food security, stands to benefit from the technological advancements and efficiency solutions presented at the fair. The event underscores the importance of agriculture in economic resilience and highlights the potential for growth in farming technologies. By facilitating trade partnerships and technology transfer, the fair supports the modernization goals of MENA countries, which are crucial for addressing the challenges of rising consumption and sustainability.
What's Next?
The fair is expected to expand its roster of exhibitors and buyers, reflecting the increasing role of technological innovation in global trade and food systems. Industry professionals, distributors, and public sector representatives from various MENA countries are encouraged to attend. The event will feature structured matchmaking, product demonstrations, and B2B sessions to explore trade partnerships and scalable mechanization solutions. This could lead to strengthened economic ties between Türkiye and MENA countries, fostering regional cooperation in agricultural development.
