Donald S. Erickson, a Vietnam War veteran and retired instrument repair technician, passed away at the age of 84. Born in Eveleth, Minnesota, Erickson served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged in 1966. He then embarked
on a long career at the Erie Mining Company, eventually retiring from LTV after 35 years. Known for his love of the outdoors, Erickson enjoyed hunting, fishing, and skiing. He is survived by his brother, nieces, nephews, and extended family. A funeral service is scheduled for April 30, 2026, at the Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Gilbert, Minnesota.
