India and Israel have signed a significant agreement to enhance agricultural cooperation through a joint venture named Semiophore Ltd. This partnership involves ATGC Biotech Pvt. Ltd. from India and Luxembourg
Industries Ltd. from Israel. The venture will focus on manufacturing and commercializing Indian pheromone-based crop protection technologies globally. This marks the first instance of Indian semiochemical technology being out-licensed and produced in Israel. The agreement was announced at the First International Science & Technology Clusters Conference in New Delhi, attended by senior officials from both countries.
