What's Happening?
FedEx Express and Tulsa Tech emerged as top performers at the Aerospace Maintenance Council's 2026 Competition held at MRO Americas. FedEx Express's Team MEM from Memphis International Airport was the overall winner, securing the MRO/OEM category and excelling
in four competition events. Another FedEx team, Team Indy, won the commercial category and five events. Tulsa Tech's Adult Students team triumphed in the school category, winning the Moeller Click-Loc Challenge and the AireXpert Dream Team Award. The U.S. Army's 128th Aviation Brigade's Team Chinook won the military category, with competitor Tiffany Gray receiving the AMC Professionalism Award. Embry-Riddle and Chennault Aviation Maintenance Academy also performed well, with several students receiving scholarships and grants.
