Central Texas Farm Credit has announced the opening of its 2026 scholarship season, aimed at supporting high school seniors who are committed to pursuing degrees in agriculture-related fields. The cooperative
will award five scholarships, each valued at $2,000, to students residing within its 19-county service area in Central Texas. The scholarships are intended to assist students in achieving their educational goals while reinforcing the agricultural foundations vital to rural communities. Eligible applicants must be graduating high school seniors planning to attend a two-year, four-year, or trade school. However, children or grandchildren of Central Texas Farm Credit directors or employees are not eligible. The application process requires submission of an official high school transcript, a high-resolution digital headshot, and a one-page essay on how the applicant plans to positively impact the agricultural industry. Applications must be submitted electronically by March 2, 2026.
