Reach Subsea has exercised an option with Kongsberg Maritime to acquire two additional uncrewed surface vessels (USVs), Reach Remote 3 and 4, as part of its fleet expansion. The new vessels are scheduled for delivery in the second half of 2027 and will mirror the specifications of the first two vessels, with adjustments based on recent operational experiences. Reach Remote 1 and 2 are already in commercial operation, conducting remote-controlled offshore deployments for major energy companies like Equinor, TotalEnergies, and Shell. The expansion is supported by debt financing and a grant from the European Union's Emission Trading System Innovation Fund.
